All Is Well

All is well in the hockey universe. The Flames fans cried......Modano cried.......ahhhh I think I'll just soak up the happy for a moment.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....hahahahaha......Oh ya also a Vancouver fan had a sign at game 7 that could contend for best sign ever. It simply said "Turco it's behind you". Brilliant hahahaha

Yesterday I changed the GO CANUCKS GO on our work whiteboard to GOLF CANUCKS GOLF. tee hee hee. But it didn't help. I know there will be a doubling of flags on the conditional fan's cars out here. And when I say conditional, I really mean bandwagon-jumpers. The majority stop acting like fans when they lose.

I'll also have to hear Canuck Canuck Canuck repeatedly throughout my day. It's a cacophonous word. It sounds like a cat throwing up.

Go Ducks! (except Pronger)

I love that sign! I will have to copy the idea for an Ottawa-Toronto game next year.

All I can say is that I am glad I am not in Ottawa this year. Listening to those we-don't-have anything-better-to-do-why-not-cheer-for-the-Sens? fans cry when their team yet again tanks in the playoffs would be a little much. I'll support them for as long as they last, but my better judgement still screams SENS SUCK!

In my alternate universe (which is by far more entertaining than this one some days), the Leafs have won the cup for the last 40 years straight. Ah, if only reality were so sweet! I may be waiting my entire life to see it, but wait I will continue to do. Being a Leafs fan teaches you patience (and swear words), but you know, without a doubt, you are a REAL fan not a bandwagon-jumper. (That is, it begs the question, why would you jump onto a broken wagon??) You can deny me dignity and pride in my team, but none can deny my dedication.

PS: This is what happens when people post about hockey. Haha.
